JOY UNSPEAKABLE

My heart's so full of love for you Lord,

it would just burst if it had seams.

My feeble mind can not express for

I lack the words and means.

My every breath is a grateful prayer,

as it goes out on the winds of time.

For the salvation that you've given,

and that my hand is placed in thine.

That you looked with love upon me, and

blessed me with your mercy and grace.

That in your precious Book of Life,

you gave my name a place!

For your spirit that came within me,

and gloriously entwined with mine.

My heart speaks so you can hear Lord,

as I search for words I just can't find.
