Our First Meeting
WinGS was birthed in the East Texas Area on Mother's Day Weekend 2001.
Our first gathering was "CELEBRATING THE BREAKTHROUGH"!
An open invitation was given to all women in God's service
to come, meet one another, have communion
and enjoy gathering around the Lord's table.
We gathered together from Mt. Pleasant, Mt. Vernon, Henderson, Albion,
Paris, Longview, Athens, White Oak, Saltillo, Tyler, Lewisville and Tulsa!
We had a wonderful luncheon at the Purvis home and gardens in Crossroads, Texas.
Rev. Reba Johnson of Tulsa, OK brought the Word,
"Adam's Rib".
Several women brought musical instruments to lead us in worship.
We shared testimonies, teachings, and songs from the Lord.
The whole day was so "sweet and good"!
