GOD'S SPIRIT MOVES UPON THE WATERS
As I looked out upon the waters,
I thought of how Jesus walked on them.
I pondered about His authority to speak
peace to the storm and that he'd do it again!
I pondered about the blessed Psalm 23
The Good Shepherd's promises are recorded where
He said, I'll lead you by the still waters,
and I'll restore your soul there!
He often taught beside and from the water.
He rode boats to the other side.
He calmed the seas when they were raging,
spoke to the high winds and tide.
I thought of all the storms we encounter while living.
I thought of the fear and panic they often bring.
Then I remember him speaking in faith to the
circumstances, he removes all of fear's panic and sting.
He was setting us an example, for all His
followers to speak in faith to their storm.
Not to fear what appeared so real in the natural,
but use His endued authority, the spiritual norm.
Jesus was our living example, he rested in the bow of
the boat, he slept through the midst of it all.
He had total confidence in His Father in the midst
till he heard the disciples' frantic call.
They thought, He must not care about us, as the
storm raged and they thought they might perish.
They couldn't understand his demeanor and calm
while they were so distressed and the ones he cherished!
He knew spiritual truths beyond their comprehension.
He knew of knowledge they knew nothing of.
He wanted to teach them by experience, their faith
level to rise to a higher, spiritual one from above.
The seas were calmed and the howling winds ceased.
The disciples to say the least were relieved!
He was showing us all what we can do if
only we would speak and believe!!!
The mountains would move at our bidding,
all the seas and storms cease to rage.
Our enemies we'd subdue when and if we
Christian's would arise and take our place.
The earth is the Lord's and it's fullness thereof.
He gave it to His greatest creation, he gave dominion to man.
Satan, in our ignorance has wrecked havoc
but we can wake up and take dominion again!
God's perfect will on earth was not sickness,
blindness, death, lawlessness and such.
His will was man created in His image to
rule and reign then and now just as much!
His will be done on earth as it is in heaven!!!!
