Hope Is A Tree Of Life
...when that which is hoped for is fulfilled, it is a tree of life.
Prov. 13:12b
As a small seed, Hope is planted in the depths of the heart
Stirring one to dare to dream
Inspiring beyond what is seen
To soar above all hurt and pain.
It slowly grows beyond belief
Overcoming all wounds and grief
As tests and trials fertilize the planting of the Lord
He gently cultivates and binds it with His crimson cord
Then sunlight shines and rains pour down
And the heart becomes fertile ground
Where Hope can flourish and abound
Until it is a magnificent tree
Christ in us, the HOPE of Glory!
