Our Feet Are Shod
See their feet, so bleeding and torn!
Their path has been so rugged, their shoes all worn.
The way they’ve walked has been oh, so hard!
Their bodies, spirits, and souls are so very tired.
Is there anyone willing, who would even care,
To give them shoes for their feet so bare ?
Easing their way over the mountains they climb,
Here’s some shoes, I’ll give you mine.
Eph. 6: 14 – 18 Stand therefore, having girded your waist with truth, having put on the breastplate of righteousness, and HAVING YOUR FEET SHOD WITH THE PREPARATION OF THE GOSPEL OF PEACE; ABOVE ALL taking with you the shield of faith with which you will be able to quench all the fiery darts of the wicked one.
And taking the helmet of salvation; and the sword of the spirit, which is the Word of God; praying always with all prayer and supplication in the Spirit, being watchful to this end with all preserverence and supplication for all the saints.
